Katherine graduated from the "World-Renowned" School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree specializing in painting, silk-screening and photography. She had extensive training in history of art and architecture which gives her that special ability to design any period piece with accuracy and style. Later she attended Columbia College focusing on theatrical set design.

Prior to moving to Los Angeles she did set decoration and props for Steppenwolf Theatre, Touchstone Theater and others. She owned an art company designing restaurant interiors, department store window displays and interior store promotions. Clients included; Carson Pirie Scott-Chicago, Saks Fifth Ave-New York, Macys - San Francisco and Liberty House-Hawaii.

In addition, she did the artwork for the "Playing Card Illusion" for magician, Lance Burton in Las Vegas.

Katherine excels in both "period" and "contemporary" design. She has an amazing eye for detail and the grand picture.
